The Town of Midland is inviting local not-for-profit organizations to set up a booth/tent at these two special Music in the Park nights on July 12, 2026 and August 5, 2026.
The Wednesday, August 5 Community Night will be an Open Mic Night, presented in partnership with the Midland Cultural Centre. The open mic welcomes local musicians of all ages, experience levels and genres to the Rotary Stage.
Organizations can use these free opportunities to promote their services, recruit volunteers, and/or lead engagement activities that do not interfere with the musical performances taking place on Rotary Stage. Organizations may solicit for donations but in a respectful manner to park visitors. Organizations may also sell tickets for their upcoming fundraising and special events.
Organizations must provide their own tent, tables/chairs and display equipment. Organizations are not permitted to drive their vehicles into the park and must trolley all equipment and materials into and out of the park from the parking lot. Any materials utilized in engagement activities must be disposed of in an environmentally-friendly manner and removed from the park.
Event Date: July 12, 2026 and August 5, 2026
Set Up Times: Set up is between the hours of 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm on the date of the event. This will allow organizations to engage with attendees as they begin to arrive for the evening. Tear down may not begin until the music ends for the evening. Organizations can stay later as they might have engagement as people head out.
Fee: No cost for not-for-profit community organizations to participate. Vendors are not permitted at this event.
Space Allotment: Booth sizes are approximately 10 feet wide x 10 feet deep.
Deadline: Applications must be received no later than June 8, 2026 at 4:00 pm
Insurance: Each organization must provide proof of liability insurance listing the Town of Midland as an additional insured in the amount of $2,000,000. Driving on the walking path and the grass section is not permitted.
