Call For Mural Artists
Deadline for final artwork to be received by the Town – October 2, 2026
The Town of Midland is issuing a call for digital art for a vinyl wrap on a utility box located in Little Lake Park adjacent to the new Splashpad.
Artists from throughout Simcoe County and the cities of Barrie and Orillia are eligible.
The design concept must have a water/aquatic theme and be fun and colourful to connect to the Splashpad.
The proposed design should include the following colour scheme to coordinate with the colours of the Splashpad:
RAL 5012 – Sky Blue
RAL 6027 – Coral Green
RAL 1025 – Yellow
RAL 2011 – Orange
RAL 6018 – Green
The dimensions of the utility box are:
Height – 60”
Back and front width – 108”
Side width – 42”
Door – 43” wide x 47.5” tall
Top - 42" x 108"
Artist fees - $600.00
