The use of consumer fireworks is allowed by permit in the Town of Midland as outlined in Fireworks By-law.
Fireworks can be set off on designated days only (when there is no fire ban), with a permit, between 6:00pm and 11:00pm on:
Victoria Day or Canada Day, or for the seven days before, or three days after these days,
or by permit.
Application to set off Fireworks:
Application must be submitted 7 days prior to the discharge date.
There is no cost for the permit.
Check the fire rating before setting off fireworks.
Violation of the terms of the permit as it pertains to the Town's Fireworks by-law 2024-33, could result in a fine and the permit may be revoked.
