Open-Air Burning Permit

Use this form to obtain an Open-Air Burning Permit, valid for this calendar year. Permits are tied to the property for which they're registered. Permit holders must agree to follow the Town's Open-Air Burning By-law. Violation of the terms of the permit could result in a fine and the permit may be revoked without refund.

Information will also be provided to by-law enforcement staff for administration and enforcement of the Town's Open Air Burning By-law. Due to property widths and for safety, homes on Cook Drive and Wright Drive must be inspected by the Midland Fire Department prior to a permit being issued. If you reside on Cook Drive or Wright Drive, please request an inspection prior to completing this form.
